Gianluca is a qualified Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist at Innisfree Therapy, offering individual and group therapy for clients affected by chemsex, compulsive sexual behaviour (CSB), and related difficulties around intimacy, relationships, shame and emotional regulation. He works with clients presenting with complex sexual and relational concerns, with particular experience supporting gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men.
Gianluca brings extensive experience from NHS sexual health settings, alongside long-standing experience in the third-sector working with complex presentations involving chemsex, compulsive sexual behaviour and relational distress. His clinical background is complemented by a strong foundation in health behaviour change, motivational interviewing and harm reduction, which informs his integrative and thoughtful therapeutic approach.
His way of working is relational, sex-positive and trauma-informed. Gianluca is known for creating a safe, non-judgemental and containing therapeutic space where clients can speak openly about experiences that may feel difficult, confusing or stigmatised. He aims to help clients feel understood, respected and empowered, supporting them to develop greater insight, strengthen emotional and sexual wellbeing, and build more authentic and fulfilling relationships.
