MSc Investigative Psychology, PG Dip CBT, Accredited EMDR, BABCP
I am an Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and Accredited EMDR Therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals across the lifespan with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed, creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
I have extensive experience working with complex trauma, attachment difficulties, anxiety, depression, OCD, low self-esteem, and nervous system dysregulation. My background includes working within healthcare, forensic, veteran, and community settings, supporting adults, young people, families, and vulnerable populations with diverse needs and experiences.
As an ADHD-affirmed therapist, I understand the importance of adapting therapy to the individual rather than expecting individuals to fit a one-size-fits-all model. I work in a neurodiversity-informed way, recognising and valuing different ways of thinking, processing, and experiencing the world.
My therapeutic style is integrative, drawing from evidence-based approaches including CBT, EMDR, compassion-focused approaches, and trauma-informed practice. I am particularly passionate about helping people understand the connection between trauma, the nervous system, emotional wellbeing, and relationships; supporting clients to move from survival into meaningful lasting growth.
I am known for being warm, approachable, and genuine. I aim to build strong therapeutic relationships where clients feel comfortable exploring difficulties at their own pace while working towards lasting change.
