Innisfree Therapy provides a specialist Chemsex recovery programme from our Harley Street clinic in London, as well as online throughout the UK. Who We Support
Who is this programme for?
Understanding the Cycle
How do I stop Chemsex?
Trying harder isn’t usually the answer. Understanding why Chemsex became part of your life is.
Chemsex is rarely just about the drugs. Many gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM) find that what began as party ‘n’ play (PNP) or a sense of belonging now feels like a risky loss of control coupled with emotional exhaustion.
Over time, Chemsex becomes deeply entwined with connection, coping, sexuality and escape.
As the cycle continues, it can become increasingly difficult to separate intimacy from substances, leaving you feeling trapped in patterns that no longer reflect the life you want.
At Innisfree Therapy, we don’t focus on blame or shame. Instead, we help you explore the underlying trauma, emotional needs and behavioural patterns that keep the Chemsex cycle going, so you can break free and begin building a realistic and supported path to recovery.

Specialist Care
Chemsex treatment in London
Our London-based multidisciplinary clinical team understands the complex relationship between trauma, compulsive sexual behaviours, sexuality, attachment and addiction and what’s driving them.
Chemsex is very difficult for gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM) to stop on their own. When drugs, dating/hook-up apps, sexual encounters and your social circles all overlap, breaking the cycle can feel next to impossible.
Innisfree Therapy offers a safe space for Chemsex treatment in London where you don’t have to hide who you are or what you’re struggling with. There’s no judgement here. We look at the behaviours to address the real emotional triggers and help you create a sustainable recovery plan that fits your life.
