For Women who have been impacted by their partner’s Compulsive Sexual Behaviour Disorder (CSBD)

At Innisfree Therapy, we recognise the need for specialist support for women with partners who are presenting with compulsive sexual behaviour disorder (CSBD), formerly described as sex addiction.

Our weekly psychotherapy group provides a safe space to explore and address the impact of relational trauma including difficult emotional states during and post discovery or disclosure of their partner’s betrayal.

The relational work facilitated by the group therapy process combined with psycho-educational support offers an opportunity for women to move into an empowered space of self-care, assertiveness and rebuilding trust in self and others.  Appropriate support is often not available from friends and family members due to the high level of shame as a result of their partner’s behaviour.

Our group offers a safe yet dynamic place for affected individuals to share their experiences, reduce their sense of isolation and shame, and learn from each other.
